Anime. There isn't much good to remember about the anime. The manga is notable and popular, even, for people that have read it. Generally people that dislike some of Mashima's other work such as Fairy Tail don't find the same issues in Rave Master. Though Rave's anime was a very poor adaptation that ended up getting cancelled halfway through it.

The basic premise seems so simple and dull but RAVE Master truly shows that what is truly important isnt the premise but the execution, which, imo, it does it masterfully. The romance actually gets build up well, the ending is nice and imo (others maybe dont like it) a deserved well-done ending. Steve717.

The animation doesn't hold up too well outside of the character designs and the scenery. CG is used badly, and the frame rate in action sequences is bad. Apparently the ending of Rave Master pissed people off so much that people were sending death threats to Mashima. That's why he made the epilogue chapter and vowed to never do that again, hence the lack of deaths in Fairy Tail. 2. that's what I am wondering myself too.. Guess he throw everything on Rave Master.
